ALMUNEDA PINTADO
Almudena Pintado, a self-taught Spanish artist born in 1969, is celebrated for her abstract and textured artworks, heavily influenced by her initial studies in fashion design and later, building design, which introduced a strong geometric flair to her pieces. Her artistic footprint spans globally with exhibitions and fairs in countries including Spain, Switzerland, France, and the USA, showcasing her work in esteemed venues like the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Her innovative use of materials like oil, acrylic, and canvas, weaves stories of childhood, joy, and life's complexities into her art.
Pintado's artistry has garnered numerous awards, including the Honorable Mention from the National Academy of Fine Arts of Brazil and the Bronze Medal from the Paris Academic Society of Arts. Her significant contributions to the art world are recognized through invitations as a guest of honor at events in the Mexican Embassy in California and publications in international art magazines. Since relocating to Switzerland in 2011, she has furthered her impact by leading PETITART and PINTADOART and joining the Colectivo Cero group, affirming her esteemed position in the art community.
